Lamitex® composite wiper blades and doctor Blades are fabricated from industrial grade composites preferred for their durability, chemical resistance, resiliency, and effectiveness.
Lamitex grade MFG is a graphite-filled cotton/phenolic wiper blade approved for rolling mill applications worldwide. It is an exceptional wiper and stripper guide material unaffected by water and most chemicals. MF-G is frequently used to clean 'work rolls' and remove excess fluid and contaminants from flat rolled steel and aluminum without marking or scratching the strip. MF-G is also an excellent doctor blade used for sludge removal with self-lubricating properties that prevent damage to belts or seams and helps extend the working life of your belts.
Lamitex PK50 and PK100 are Kevlar® /phenolic composites used by aluminum and steel finishing mills as wear bars that will not scar or damage your material’s finish.
Lamitex PF-30 is a graphite filled Jute - phenolic composite developed for seal bar applications paper machines and other pulp and paper mill applications.
Other materials fabricated for various wiper blade applications are Lamitex grade C cotton phenolic, oil filled nylon,and UHMW. All wiper and doctor blades are fabricated to our customers’specifications.
